Brock vs Roxanne vs Roark, who is the better Rock Specialist?

I'll have to go with Brock, reasons later

i have a system down for brock x3 catch nidoran, train it up until it learns double kick, proceed to sweep

Roxanne because she doesn't have to put up the red light

also same reason as The Administrator

I dont know, i have fond memories with brock. but, that is just me!!

Brock is awesome for many reasons

1. Is one of the few black characters
2. Awesome vs sprite
3. He takes care of +10 siblings (In the anime)
4. Endured Ash's stupidity for 13 seasons through 4 regions and idk how many movies
5. Catches the better pokemon compared to Ash (Most of the time)
6. Even though they De-Gym him in the Anime and make his Brother Forrest the official leader he's calm as ever
7. De-gym his own mother (Pokemon Chronicles)
8. Better clothing choice than Ash (Only exceptions for ash include Sir Aurron's attire, Wallace Cup Attire, B/W Attire)
9. Keeps Onix on his final team in HG/SS and doesn't get rid of it in the anime when it evolves into a Steelix later
10. Decides to abandon Ash in Sinnoh

Downfall for number 10, why is there no more Pokemon Chronicles? Why doesn't he go on an epic adventure? Why doesn't he get his own TV Show? But No they pick Ash a noob with supposedly the strongest pikachu in the world who loses to a below level 10 Snivy. Than loses to a Frillish? Than gets whooped by a Cranidos? Never wins half it's battles? And Ash has all these pokemon in regions 1-4 but never evolves half of them because they don't wanna evolve. I'd take some old friends on my adventures to whoop rivals but no he also lost to Paul multiple times. I mean really come on, who actually manages to catch all 3 starters? Oh wait him, 3 in Kanto, 3in Johto, and one in Hoenn, two in Sinnoh, and back to 3 in Unova. And he leaves his traveling buddies, from A lot of trainers. Brock, Misty, Tracy, May, Max, Dawn, Barry?, Cilan and end it with a beotch Iris. In the games she's never said "You're such a kid" but the anime apparently thinks so and it gets so annoying, I gotta give Ash credit for dealing with that on a daily basis. "I caught a Pidove!" Ash exclaims as Iris mocks him "You're such a kid! Getting excited over a little Pidove. And don't get me started on Jesse and James.

i wasnt saying i didnt like brock, the question was who was the better rock specialist. to me, that means who was stronger and who uses rock pokemon the best.

brock used rock/ground. granted, gen 1 had no pure rock types but thats not my main irk. my irk with it is it was called a ROCK gym and yet the ONE AND ONLY TRAINER has a SANDSHREW and a DIGLETT which are PURE GROUND TYPES. wtfits. at least give the kid a rhyhorn or something.

i love how no one has said roark yet x3 he was at least better than brock in the sense his trainers both have at least part rock pokemon. and thats if you even decide to face them. take the short and more challenging route or the longer and easier route? what? it takes longer to fight the two trainers than it EVER would to simply walk around. roark is also the only one of the three to have 3 pokemon in his party and yet manage to be the easiest rock leader to beat, imo

interesting to note about all of them, though, is they were all the first gyms in their respective generations AND they had nearly a complete lack of any sort of gym puzzle.

And anyway I still like Roxanne in comparison to the other two. Roark is just sad (his freaking dad probably pulled some strings to get him where he is) and Brock is over-used and over-liked, plus Roxanne was book-smart which was a lot like me back when R/S came out. (Now I'm just an idiot :P)

5/10 Week 5's Poll (One of a serious matter)

Would you rather have a B/W Remake (Grey), or a R/S/E Remake (5th Gen)?

These two are possible since they might add animated sprites for B/W and new content like a Battle Frontier. Also a R/S/E Remake is possile as well since in the third gen (R/S/E) they created a Green and Red remake (FR/LG), than in the fourth gen they remade Gold and Silver (HG/SS) so if the pattern were to continue they'd make another R/S/E and a trio which is rumored to be Grey for B/W.

I'd have to say I'd rather have the remake of R/S/E Cause I like the battle frontier symbols and I like the league. Expecially Steven Stone, he was BA but what happened? They replaced him with Wallace -_- Also I like Juan better then Wallace but would rather have Steven still be champ, so maybe make Steven like maybe be the ex-champ and whoop him afterwards

id rather see the rse remake but theyll likely do both. what with nintendos money grubbingness

although, now that im thinking about it, gray would be cool to see. several of the last games in the trios have had interesting additions to make.

yellow was probably the greatest difference. following the anime by making 'ash' the main character and giving you a pikachu as a starter, which then followed you around the entire game when it was in the party.
crystal added another major feature with a new gender, and also had an interesting story tweak with the suicune arc.
emeralds differences were meh. i either never used the new features or i dont remember them (battle frontier i think was all?). i know the story edit had something to do with a war between kyogre and groudon, the world was in danger, only you can save us, etc. and so forth.
platinum was cool with the reverse world and it did delve into team galactic a bit more, exposing more of the leader's character. it also introduced new pokemon forms with shaymin, rotom, and giratinas additional forms.

i suppose all that means im on the fence. i know theyll probably make both and i would very likely BUY both if/when they come out x3

Uhm... If the poll is still on, I'd definitely have to say Brock is a better trainer, just because he's likely older and more experienced, even if he does use ground types.

Also, I don't want Grey, and I don't want Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remake. What I'd like is something new done with the series. Not like poke-pinball or such, but more like an online multiplayer game. I also would love to see a newer, much more mature pokemon. Likely one where breeding is a bit more realistic, (maybe having to deal with a pregnant pokemon and the consequences therein lying), and one where the story is a bit more mature. And yes, I've been talking to Kitty, and I agree that Team Rocket needs to be brought back, because they are indeed the best villain.

Who else thinks that a new mature pokemon game needs to be released, and who else has ideas for it?

mmmmh, reminds me of an earlier talk, yeah, Gender should play a bigger role in the world of pokemon, to start, let the man and woman at the daycare be honest about eggs " Your pokemon had an egg..we dont know how, but it held it so here" it doesnt take science to put one plus one together, or do humans also get dropped off by storks in the world of pokemon?

Gardevoir - Granted, they rectivited that with Gallade, but if you want, you can still make a male Gallade...lets get rid of that shall we?
Loppunny - one of the most girly pokemon there is, and it has NO excuse to not have a gender lock, its the same gen as Vespiqueen after all
Blossem - its wearing a flowered skirt okay? nough said
Gothita - its the new generation Gardevoir if you ask me, and has NO excuse to not be fem only

Mature as in pron? uh no maybe blood at most for the pokemon series since it's popular amongst kids and adults alike, by showing little kids where eggs come from they'll be disturbed for life, than adults might get into it more and that'll be catostrphic. Also I like how you have random discussion in random weekly poll

@Ace: both; n can delve into both reshiram and zekrom and we can access the awesomeness that is ICE DRAGON, and also a cool RSE remake would be nice

@Violet: not interested, I enjoy the appeal of the good ol' nostalgia-ridden Pokemon games, and I ironically don't care for Team Rocket; if anything I'd enjoy a real-time 3D FPS Pokemon game where the Wii/3DS controller is like a Poke-Ball launcher that controls your Pokemon in real-time as well as catching Pokemon (like a much more hectic Pokemon Channel) oh and also animal porn is kinda dumb because things like hyenas and sharks are sexually wtf-like PLUS MY CHARACTER WOULD NEVER GO HUNGRY because Pokemon eggs are eggs, yum yum

@Silver: I happen to like traps, which are basically well-done crossdressers; I don't think they can retroactively alter the Pokemon without the game getting confusing code-wise

Okay so some poll that was... 2 votes weren't votes but suggestions for a new pokemon game entirely. But rereading the actual votes comments and stuff it's pretty much a 50/50 vote since both would be nice additions.

What do you think about the new anime season for Black and White?

I think it would be best...

1. Make a new Pokemon Chronicles so we can remember some trainers from a while ago and watch their new adventures instead like Brock getting his HG/SS attire and what Gary is doing as a Professor in trainer I guess, and where Ash's old rivals have gone.

2. Get rid of Jesse, James, and Meowth. "We're blasting off again!" got old after season one and when Brock is kicked off they don't blast off anymore? They become more stealthy than all 13 previous seasons combined? What a joke, following a noob trainer for a noob pikachu through out the years. Why not feature... i don't know maybe the actual in game bad guy team? Team Plasma doesn't appear until like episode 20 something.

3. Get rid of Ash and Pikachu. Basically a repitition of his life is boring as hell. So I'll sum it up

"Let's go on an adventure to this region Pikachu!"
"Yay, we won this many badges!"
"Awe man, I lost against this many gym leaders and have to try again but somehow win the second time... Yay!"
"Oh no, my new rival is a real @ssh0le/goody two shoes"
"Yay I overcame my rivalry somehow and proved my self victorious"
"Oh no, even though I apparantly have the world's stronger Pikachu it lost this many times and stuff but we still keep on going!"
"Oh no, I can't win against the elite four, champion, and conference and have decided to run back home to my mommy and leave all pokemon with Prof Oak" (Now Juniper)
"Yay I somehow get information about a new region I haven't got my @s$ whooped in yet, let's go Pikachu!"

4. Probably should stop making Gym Leaders traveling partners as that is what the first 6 seasons were about? Brock and Misty quit to join noob Ash on adventures and finally Misty got smart and left him in Johto while Brock was still traveling with him until he realized this and left him in Sinnoh. And the other two player character girls quit in one region, lucky them. So maybe get a new Game Character to start a journey and team up with Game Character Rivals and other Game Characters all entirely to make an interesting season for once.

Like Black, White, Lucas, Cheren, Wally, Brendan, Silver, or Blue/Leaf. Only Lucas and Brendan appear in movies for like 1-15 seconds each time or cameo. The Gold and Crystal Characters were seen twice. One named Jimmy and the other Crystal/Kris? Than another set for HG/SS one being Lyra in a few episodes and the other Ethan in one movie 1-15 seond cameo. Khoury or whatever in the same episodes as Lyra would've been the best choice as he and Lyra started their journeys and seem to have a love/hate relationship going on like Ash and Misty.

So yeah I don't like where the anime is heading but it's above what I expected for a new season and new region.

Repitition is good for animators, though. It's practice and the ability to reuse frames. I'll say that I don't watch the anime and haven't done so consistently since the first season. I have no opinion.
