Wii 2
The Wii 2 (codenamed project shitfare cafe), is slated for release in 2012. It will be shown to the public during this summer's E3. It is slated to have 1080p graphics, and will cost around $350 - $400.
OPINION:
...What the fuck. THREE. HUNDRED. AND FIFTY. DOLLARS. FOR A WII?. No. No. No.
See. When you have a new concept. You don't make a new system. You make ADD ON PERIPHIALS, LIKE THE XBOX KINECT AND SONY MOVE. Simple add-ons that could be purchased if wanted, but not nessescary. BUT A WHOLE NEW SYSTEM DEAR GOD.
Oh, another thing, the 3DS could possibly be a Wii 2 controller.
- Spoiler:
WHAT THE FUCK? So, we have to buy a $250 handheld... to play our $350 console... so $600 to play the SYSTEM WITH NO GAMES. Add in two games, boom, $700. Wasted.
I don't know about anyone else, but Nintendo's gonna have to make this shit look perfect before I even consider buying this.

Re: Wii 2
I'm probably going to buy this when it comes out. It's called "Project Cafe", there's no expletives in that, I'd like it if you didn't add stuff in randomly.
The point to the Stream (which is a rumored codename and one that I particularly like) is more like the Dreamcast which was the bomb diggity back in the day before the PS2 came out. It's Nintendo's attempt to get higher-end graphics and a better console out there than the Wii itself, and no peripheral could possibly make the Wii's specs any better than the Xbox 360's.
It says nothing about the 3DS being the only form of controller for the Stream. I do like the concept, though; Nintendo dominates in the handheld market and having a console that doesn't require the use of a TV to play entire games is a very neat concept.
Your opinion is deeply flawed, but that's what opinions tend to be, in the long run. If add-on peripherals are how Nintendo was supposed to market themselves, they probably should have never had made the DSi XL or the 3DS (both of which I own, mind you), but Nintendo's way is different than Microsoft's or Sony's way, which is a good thing.
But hey, considering this damned thing is more powerful than the freaking PS3, I'm interested in buying one. I'd rather not wait until 2014 for the newest Sony/Microsoft device.
